Caroline TienNov. 15, 2022 Four of 19 Milford retailers failed to confirm customers were over 21 before selling tobacco products and/or e-cigarettes to them during an unannounced compliance inspection Monday, according to Milford police.Tara O'Neill/Hearst Connecticut Media MILFORD — Four local retailers were found in violation of state laws regarding the sale of tobacco products and/or electronic cigarettes Monday, according to police. Convenience stores, smoke shops and other establishments that sell tobacco products and/or electronic cigarettes are required by the state of Connecticut to verify that customers are over 21 before allowing them to purchase such items, according to Milford police.
