MILFORD — With warmer weather comes mosquito season — and city and state officials are already taking the offensive. The Milford Health Department recently hosted a special event on Milford Land Conservation Trust property, with officials discussing the city's ongoing mosquito control program as well as demonstrating how these insects' breeding sites are treated within the community. 'In order to decrease the incidence of human transmission of West Nile Virus, Eastern Equine Encephalitis and associated diseases, the interaction between mosquitoes and humans should be minimized,' said Deepa D.
