Red Cross helps two Bethel families after fire on Grassy Plain Street: The American Red Cross is helping two families – four adults – two children after a fire today on Grassy Plain Street, Bethel. The Red Cross provided assistance to meet the families' immediate needs. Responders included: Cheryl Engels, Art Hopkins, Sheri MacKenzie and Ginger Flynn. The Red Cross also provided Boys & Girls Village Celebrates 80 Years of Serving Connecticut's Most Vulnerable: Supporters, educators, and community leaders came together to attend the Boys & Girls Village 80th anniversary celebration.
