Two southern Connecticut restaurants have earned recent honors from Gambero Rosso , described as an authority on Italian food, wine and travel. In March, Strega Restaurant in Milford and Bianca Restaurant & Bar in Greenwich were touted among several Northeastern Italian restaurants for their authentic cuisine, and honored in a ceremony in New York City. Each eatery earned a "due forchette" designation: two out of three forks, similar to Michelin's star ratings. "Gambero Rosso is one of, if not the most prestigious food and wine [guides] in Italy.
