A clean and pleasent park and beach with excellent views of Long Island Sound. There's a small boardwalk that extends along the length of the beach that is perfect for jogging or walking, along with several jetties and a pier for fishing. An overall perfect place to spend a hot summer day.

Silver Sands park connects with Walnut Beach on a beautifully built walkway. The water in the summer is relatively clean, low tide goes way out! The Sandbar that stretches to Charles Island must be taken seriously when the tide comes in. People have been taken in by the currents.
