Milford officials approved a zoning regulation earlier this week that would transform the Connecticut Post Mall into a multi-use community. The city's Planning and Zoning Board voted unanimously, with one abstention, for the plan that would add 750 housing units, 10% of which would be considered affordable housing. There would also be an outdoor plaza for dining, pop-up shops and entertainment events. The regulation was brought forward by Centennial, the group that owns the mall. Centennial says this plan, which features more affordable housing compared to its last two proposals, aligns with the city's plans and goals.
