The Yale New Haven Health system announced Friday it has acquired PhysicianOne Urgent Care, which has locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. YNHH has had a clinical affiliation with PhysicianOne for the past six years, and system leaders called integrating the 24/7 urgent care provider a natural next step as part of its efforts to expand. YNHH CEO and President Christopher O'Connor said of the acquisition, 'Yale New Haven Health is committed to meeting the patients where they want to access care, and urgent care is a convenient alternative for many people.
